Russia blocks Transparency.org

Россия заблокировала сайт Transparency.org

On April 25 2018 the website of Transparency International Coalition Against Corruption transparency.org ceased to operate in Russia without VPN/proxy. Thus, Russia became the first country of TI presence that blocks our international website.

The TI website is not included in the list of resources officially blocked by Russian Federation. We have no knowledge if transparency.org has suffered as one of the 14 million IP addresses blocked by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Media (http://eng.rkn.gov.ru/) in their attempt to block Telegram messenger.

The website of “Transparency International - R” remains accessible to users from Russia.

“Transparency International - R”, being a national chapter of Transparency International movement requested legal assistance of Agora International Human Rights Group.

We are grateful to the Telegram team for creation and support of a very convenient tool for our daily needs. The messenger remains fully operational.
